For Canon BC-20 Inkjet Cartridge
Instructions
- Locate the filling hole on the top of the cartridge. As indicated in the picture.
- Enlarge the filling hole using the screw provided.
- Assemble the syringe and filling needle and fill with black color ink.
- Insert the needle through the appropriate filling hole and push into the center of the cartridge.
- There may be slight resistance felt due to the sponge inside the cartridge.
- Slowly inject up to 30 ml of ink. When full some ink may overflow from the filling and outlet holes.
- Unused ink may be returned to the bottle. Clean the syringe with water and dry for future use, or use different color ink.
- Place the cartridge and run few preparatory cycles as instructed in the printer manual.
- You are all set to use your refilled cartridge now.
General
Hints
- Always store empty cartridges in a zip lock bag
- Remove cartridge from printer before refilling
- Conduct the refilling operation over a protected surface and avoid spills
- Handle cartridges carefully and avoid touching metallic parts
- If cartridges with a print head are stored after refilling, the print nozzles should be wiped with a damp cloth, before use, to remove any dried ink, that may block them
